My first bug report to CM

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5110) and for a while now I use the nightly builds of CyanogenMod. I have had issues/bugs before, but it was nothing like “unusable device”.

Two days ago after the “daily” update it started crashing, literally. “System UI has stopped”. I downgraded, and went on with my life. The next day the same, the third the same. As I have seen on their blog, just few days before, that the CM team would not treat the submission like a bug without a log so I decided to find out more about submitting bugs to CM.

So, I’ve downloaded the Android SDK, connected to the tabled using the command “adb shell”, then ran a “logcat > /sdcard/log.txt” and just after I quit the shell and did a “adb pull /sdcard/log.txt”.

I posted the bug to their bugtracker and hopefully the guys developing this marvelous spin of Android will solve the issue.
