Samba 4 represents a new era in Linux-Windows interoperability. This project was long expected, i mean, ever since the “Active Directory” words are around… it was about time to get it finished.

It comes with up to date features of SMB file-sharing protocols, it can be integrated with existing Active Directories. It also features group policies, roaming profiles etc. It also supports clustering, load-balancing, Exchange integration, Python scripting and much more.

Can’t wait to test it!
